Q4 2023 Performance of Top Navigation Apps on Android in Brazil

In the fourth quarter of 2023, the navigation and maps category for Android devices in Brazil saw significant activity among top applications. Data from Sensor Tower offers a snapshot of the performance of these essential tools for travelers and commuters.

Waze Navigation & Live Traffic maintained strong user engagement throughout the quarter, with weekly active users peaking at 2.76M in mid-December. Downloads showed an upward trend, culminating in a spike to 200K in the final week of December.

Google Earth experienced a decrease in downloads over the quarter, starting at around 45K and dipping to 24K before a slight recovery to 36K in the last week. The weekly active users followed a similar downward trajectory, starting at 399K and reducing to 313K, then slightly increasing to 335K by the end of December.

GPS+ Maps, Navigation, Traffic, while showing fluctuating revenue with a notable absence in the second week of December, ended the quarter on an upswing with revenue reaching $761. Downloads and weekly active users had a mixed trend, with downloads dipping to 9.8K and active users declining to 35K by the quarter's close.

Live Earth Map: Street View 3D saw a significant jump in downloads in early October, reaching 26K before stabilizing around the 10K mark. Active users showed a growth towards the end of the quarter, rising from an initial 12K to nearly 15K.
